  1. I have never heard of lighting a candle to help with meditation. Whenever I attempt to meditate I always think about how little sleep I got from the kids the night before and how I am wasting my time right now instead of attempting to sleep. I am going to try the candle. My Mantra is Balance. It has been for years and until I achieve it, I will be focusing on that word. Thank you for the focus.

      Thank you so much for stopping by. The candle technique is very helpful, but it’s not necessary. You can also just stare at a wall with a piece of small paper taped to it and color it black. It’s just as effective and in my opinion can also be less dangerous if you’re one of those OCD types such as myself LOL. I know that your meditation will get better and better as your practice.
